Tigres kicked off the week preparing for their Concacaf Champions Cup match against Orlando City with the good news that they will have André Pierre-Gignac in their squad, as confirmed by Robert Dante Siboldi.

The Frenchman has successfully overcome a hard blow to his right knee, and the coach confirmed his presence in the second leg of the Round of 16 of the competition. “André is fit and ready to play tomorrow,” said the experienced manager.

Likewise, the Uruguayan highlighted that his side will have to improve their accuracy, a factor behind their wobbly results, despite everyone agreeing that there has been an improvement in their performance.

The last few results have not been what we would have liked, but there is always a positive and negative balance, they have not been favourable, but the positive thing is that we have been improving, I remember the first half against Toluca, the great match we played against América, but the ball did not want to go in.”
