The Masters Tournament, often simply referred to as “The Masters,” holds a special place in the hearts of golf enthusiasts worldwide. As one of the four prestigious men’s major golf championships, it captivates audiences every year.

The Masters Tournament was founded in 1934 by two visionaries: amateur golf champion Bobby Jones and investment banker Clifford Roberts. After achieving a remarkable grand slam in 1930, Jones acquired a former plant nursery in Augusta, Georgia. Together with renowned course architect Alister MacKenzie, they co-designed the legendary Augusta National Golf Club.
